The Directors

As founder of IA Systems, Daniel brings to the Company his wealth of business expertise with 10 years experience in the Electronic Document Management environment. Daniel has been working at Executive Management level for the last five years and for four of those years he was the Managing Director of MDS and Director of the Mercedes Datakor Group. He is well known in the industry and has been asked to present papers and chair many conferences on Electronic Document Management, Knowledge Management, Portals and Workflow and also hosted a radio show on Short Circuit on Knowledge Management.

Jawad commenced his career in IT when he joined the Transnet group as a programmer. After a short period of time, he was assigned to the Spoornet Document Management project as lead analyst in 1997, from which time he focussed on projects within this arena. In 1998, he joined MDS as a programmer/analyst and became the project manager responsible for all MDS implementations. While performing as a project manager, Jawad was also assigned account manager responsibilities for sensitive accounts. In January 2001, Jawad formed his own IT Company and collaborated with MDS within the Document Management market in SA.
